3/18/18 - The World Turned Upside Down: Last Supper

-Share an experience of a meal or time sitting around the table that was significant.

-There is no indication that Judas leaves the meal after being “called out” by Jesus. Read Matthew 26:20-25 | Why doesn’t Jesus just come out and say that Judas is going to betray him? Does the rest of the passage (and the giving of communion) change if Judas is outed and sent away?

-In Matthew 26:28, Jesus says that “this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” If we believe that this includes everyone, does this change the regulations set for Passover listed in Exodus 12:43-51? How?

-If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be and why?
